Mark Your Calendar . . . Our First Ever Virtual AGM!

Saturday, November 7, 2020 @ 10am

With restrictions on public gatherings expected to remain effective in November 2020, the ANBMT will be hosting its first ever virtual annual general meeting in a concerted effort to adapt to our new normal. This will provide a unique opportunity for all members to attend irrespective of their physical location and it will replace the in-person general meeting.

The Government of New Brunswick likely will not provide the green light to large public gatherings until at least a vaccine is made available. As per the NB Government’s directives, the yellow stage of the recovery plan will allow for gatherings of 50 or fewer. The yellow stage comes before and is followed by the green stage (after a vaccine). The limit on gatherings will be reviewed on a regular basis based on the evolution of the situation in New Brunswick. For more details on NB’s Recovery Plan stages, click here.

The virtual AGM will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 10am via Zoom video conference. A call for registrations will follow within the next couple of months by email. Prior to the start of the meeting, all registrants will be provided with a Zoom meeting invite link to connect to the meeting. For those members with poor Internet connections, you may call in toll-free and listen to the meeting. Materials to be presented at the meeting will be circulated to those who plan to attend in advance of the meeting, i.e. agenda, reports, and financial review.
