The 2021 virtual AGM will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 10am–12pm via Zoom (online meeting platform). The deadline to register is November 27th.
Zoom Webinar Link: Attendees will receive a link via e-mail to participate in the webinar on Friday, December 3. It will be sent the day before the start of the AGM.
From December 1 through to December 3 (vote closes at 5pm), practising members (voting members) ONLY will have the opportunity to electronically vote for motions indicated on the agenda. Your vote will only count if you are present at the AGM or by proxy.
2.1.21 “Voting Member” means only Practising Members who are in good standing with the Association and with the College and have been in good standing for at least thirty (30) days immediately prior to a General Meeting may vote on any and all matters requiring same at General Meetings.
Note: Resolutions must be received 30 days prior to the AGM in accordance with Article 2.1.19 of the Bylaws.

Please consider being a volunteer with the Association
We are grateful for the unwavering dedication, kindness, and the valuable time that volunteers have graciously given us. All volunteers bring positive ideas and energy, and this is key to our growth as a profession and association.
To encourage ANBMT members to volunteer to serve on a committee and help promote/advance the massage therapy profession, ANBMT members receive a discount for any course offered and sponsored by the Association. Volunteers are eligible for the credit rebate every 3 months and can apply $200/course. (Potential to receive a $200 credit for up to 4 courses/year.) And earn category A CEUs (CMTNB)!
We are without candidates for Regional Directors in Zone 3 (Fredericton/River Valley) and Zone 6 (Bathurst/ Acadian Peninsula).
*Zones 1,3,5 and 7 shall serve an initial two-year term.
*Zones 2,4 and 6 shall serve for an initial one-year.
*The submission deadline for nominations is November 19, 2021.
Elections 2021
From December 1 through to December 3, practising members (ONLY) will have the opportunity to electronically vote for a Secretary-Treasurer and one of seven regional directors to form our new Board of Directors. If the number of candidates nominated is equal to the number of vacancies and there are no further nominations, the Chair will declare nominations closed and the candidate(s) will be elected by acclamation. The voting results will be announced at the AGM.
According to Bylaw 2 (transitional provisos):
Regional Directors from zones 1,3,5 and 7 shall serve an initial two-year term ending at the 2023 Annual General Meeting.
Regional Directors from zones 2,4 and 6 shall serve for an initial one-year term and these positions will be up for election at the 2022 Annual General Meeting.
