Welcome to the ANBMT 2026–2027 Member Renewal Guide.
This page provides everything you need to complete your membership renewal for the upcoming membership year. Please review the information below carefully and follow the step-by-step renewal process.
Renew Early to Avoid Delays
Submit your renewal form early to allow time for invoice preparation, payment processing, and access to the BFL Canada Professional Liability Insurance Portal. Members are encouraged to complete their renewal as early as possible to ensure sufficient time for processing before the September 25, 2026 renewal deadline.
Before You Begin
- Before starting your renewal, please have the following available:
- Your ANBMT Member Number
- Updated contact information
- A valid email address
- A credit card or access to Interac e-Transfer (if applicable)
- If purchasing Professional Liability Insurance, please note that you must first complete your ANBMT Membership Renewal Form and have your membership payment received and processed by the ANBMT office before accessing the BFL Canada Insurance Portal.

Step 4 - Renew Professional Liability Insurance (Practising and Life Members only.)
Step 5 - Upload your Certificate of Insurance to your CMTNB Portal
Who Needs to Renew?
All ANBMT members—including Practising, Life, Non-Practising, and Affiliate Members—must complete an annual Membership Renewal Form to maintain their membership status.
Whether you are renewing a paid membership or a complimentary Life Membership, the renewal process ensures that your membership records and contact information remain current.
STEP 1 – Complete Your Membership Renewal Form
All members renew using the same online Membership Renewal Form. Please complete your Membership Renewal Form before making payment. Once your renewal form has been received, the ANBMT office will prepare and email your Membership Renewal Invoice. (Beginning the week of August 17, 2026, as they are prepared.)
Before submitting your renewal, please review and update:
- Mailing address
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Employment/practice information (if applicable)

STEP 2 – Receive Your Membership Renewal Invoice
After your Membership Renewal Form has been submitted, the ANBMT office will prepare your Membership Renewal Invoice. Invoices will be emailed individually beginning the week of August 17, 2026, as they are prepared.
Invoices will be sent to the email address provided on your Membership Renewal Form.
If you do not receive your invoice, please check your Inbox, Junk Mail, and Spam folders before contacting the ANBMT office.
STEP 3 – Pay Your Membership Fee Credit Card
Pay securely using the payment link included in your Membership Renewal Invoice.
Interac e-Transfer
Email payment to: anbmt@anbmt.ca
Please include your ANBMT Member Number and full name in the message/memo section of your e-Transfer so your payment can be identified and processed promptly.
Please use your ANBMT Member Number as the security answer whenever possible.
If your financial institution does not allow numbers in the security answer field, please choose another security answer that meets your bank's requirements and email the security answer to the ANBMT office at anbmt@anbmt.ca so your payment can be deposited.
Including your ANBMT Member Number and providing the security answer (when required) helps ensure your payment is processed without delay.
Renewal Deadline & Late Fee
Membership renewal and payment must be received by September 25, 2026.
A $25.00 late fee applies to renewal payments received after September 25, 2026 at 11:59am.
Renewing early helps avoid delays in payment processing and access to the Professional Liability Insurance Portal.
STEP 4 – Renew Professional Liability Insurance
- Practising and Life Members Only
The ANBMT/BFL Canada Professional Liability Insurance Program is available only to:
- Practising Members
- Life Members
Non-Practising and Affiliate Members are not eligible to participate in the insurance program.
Important
Before accessing the ANBMT/BFL Canada Professional Liability Insurance Portal, you must:
✔ Complete your ANBMT Membership Renewal Form.
✔ Submit your membership renewal payment to the ANBMT office using one of the available payment options:
- Interac e-Transfer to anbmt@anbmt.ca; or
- Credit Card payment using the secure payment link included in your Sage Accounting invoice. After submitting your Membership Renewal Form and payment, you may proceed to access the BFL Canada Insurance Portal and complete your Professional Liability Insurance renewal.

No Need to Wait for a Paid Invoice
You do not need to wait for a paid invoice or payment receipt from the ANBMT office before accessing the BFL Canada Insurance Portal.
Once your Membership Renewal Form has been completed and your membership payment has been submitted, you may proceed with your Professional Liability Insurance renewal.
The ANBMT office will continue to reconcile payments and issue paid invoices/receipts during the renewal period.
Please note: Membership payments are reconciled by the ANBMT office during the renewal period. To help ensure your payment can be identified, please include your ANBMT Member Number and full name with your payment submission.

STEP 5 – Upload Your Certificate of Insurance
After purchasing Professional Liability Insurance:
1. Download your Certificate of Insurance.
2. Upload your renewed Certificate of Insurance to your CMTNB Portal.
The College of Massage Therapy of New Brunswick (CMTNB) requires proof of Professional Liability Insurance as part of your registration requirements.
Renew Early & Win!
Members who renew their ANBMT membership on or before September 15, 2026 will automatically be entered into a draw to win one of two complimentary ANBMT memberships for the 2027–2028 membership year.
Prize Value: $210 each
No additional entry is required.
The draw will take place after September 15, 2026, and the winners will be contacted directly by the ANBMT office.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do all members need to renew?
Yes. Practising, Life, Non-Practising, and Affiliate Members must complete the annual Membership Renewal Form.
Do Life Members need to renew?
Yes. Life Members must complete the annual renewal form to maintain current records and continue accessing eligible benefits.
Can I update my contact information through the Member Portal?
No. Please update your contact information by completing the Membership Renewal Form.
When will I receive my invoice?
Invoices begin being emailed individually the week of August 17, 2026, after your renewal form has been received.
I cannot find my invoice. What should I do?
Please check your Inbox, Junk Mail, and Spam folders before contacting the ANBMT office.
Can I pay my membership fee by credit card?
Yes. You can pay your membership fee by credit card by opening your emailed Membership Renewal Invoice and selecting the “Pay Now” button.
Follow the instructions provided through the secure payment process to complete your payment.
Can I pay by Interac e-Transfer?
Yes. Membership fees may also be paid by Interac e-Transfer.

Can I renew my Professional Liability Insurance before renewing my ANBMT membership?
