We are a small tightly knit team of health professionals looking for an energetic Massage Therapist to join our clinic in a hybrid RMT/Chiropractic Assistant role. This role is perfect for a therapist who is looking for a position that will allow for the stability of an hourly wage, while still being on a typical split while working on massage treatments.
Prior training as a Chiropractic Assistant is an asset, but not required. Training will take place on the job and can be undertaken while still being active within the clinic as a Massage Therapist. Knowledge gained through RMT schooling as well as working with patients in a real world setting will allow for a seamless transition into the chiropractic assistant role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the chiropractor with patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and performing therapies as directed
- Manage patient records, including updating patient information and maintaining accurate and organized files for both Massage and Chiropractic care.
- Schedule appointments
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, billing for services, and managing office supplies
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited 2200 hour massage therapy program
- Must be a member in good standing with CMTNB
- Passionate about health and wellness
- Desire to help people improve function and overall wellness
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; enjoy working with the public
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
