The FIX is a four-year-old thriving, multidisciplinary clinic and boutique training facility in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. The FIX provides chiropractic care, medical acupuncture, rehabilitation, and massage therapy to the Summerside and surrounding regions of Prince Edward Island. The interdisciplinary health care team at The FIX provides patient-centred, hands-on, evidence-informed treatment, through the highest quality, most thorough upstream approach to health.
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Registered Massage Therapist locum eager to be part of a strong healthcare team and to enhance their lifestyle in a safe, friendly, active, and welcoming community. The locum position is full-time for six months, from August 1, 2023 (or before!) to December 20, 2023, with the possibility of an extension.
As a locum, you will take on a thriving practice from The FIX’s current RMT who is preparing for maternity leave. We are experiencing a significant increase in demand from our clients, and our RMT is booking three months in advance, with a lengthy wait list each day. Your schedule will be filled each day with a balance of new and current clients. Reception staff manage the assignment, direction, and flow of patients and clients to and from the private massage therapy room, the six private chiropractic treatment rooms, and the bright, spacious, fully equipped training and rehabilitation area.

You cooperate with other branches of medical science referring patients to other practitioners for diagnosis or treatment when appropriate. You collaborate with your
