Course Details
The ancient practice of Indian Head Massage, rooted in Ayurveda, a traditional Indian system of medicine, has endured for thousands of years. Also known as Champissage, Indian Head Massage concentrates on the upper back, arms, hands, shoulders, upper pectorals, neck, head, face, and ears—the area’s most vulnerable to the accumulation of stress, muscular hyper tonicity, and tension. This specialized massage technique yields exceptional benefits by promoting balance and enabling the release of stress and tension, fostering inner peace and overall well-being in the recipient.
Indian Head Massage offers versatility, making it accessible and convenient for individuals seeking relief. It can be performed virtually anywhere and at any time, either over clothing in a seated posture or while lying down, seamlessly integrating into your routine massages.
This comprehensive certification course encompasses both theoretical teachings and hands-on practical instruction. Upon completion of the course, participants will be presented with a Certificate of Attendance. Throughout the program, you will acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to conduct an Indian Head Massage session, with a focus on performing the massage while the client is in a supine position—the preferred method for enabling the client to fully relax and release tensions, although it can also be performed in a seated position.
Some possible benefits of Indian Head Massage:
- Can stimulate blood circulation to scalp.
- Can relieve muscular tonicity, tension, headaches, migraines.
